Your records

Finance Three is a personal budgeting app. You enter amounts, dates, categories, notes, envelopes and plans yourself. These records are stored on your device. The app does not connect to your bank, request your payment card details, or require a separate developer account.

iCloud

When iCloud is available, Finance Three uses Apple CloudKit to synchronize budget records between your devices. Personal records use your private iCloud database. Apple provides this service under its Privacy Policy. Finance Three stores the iCloud account identifier locally to keep different accounts separate.

Family budgets

Creating a family budget copies your current records into a separate shared budget and starts a separate personal budget. People who accept an invitation can view the shared records, including notes, and participants with editing access can change them. Your separate personal budget is not automatically added to a family budget when you join. The owner manages participants through Apple's sharing controls. Restoring or importing a file into a family budget can make those imported records visible to its participants.

Backups and copies

You can export a backup containing your records, envelopes, plan and currency to a location you choose in Files. The app also creates local safety copies during recovery, restoration and family setup. These files contain readable financial data. Anyone you send a backup to, or grant access to its storage location, may be able to read it. You can manage exported and safety copies in Files. Removing a participant does not erase copies they already saved.

Developer access and tracking

Finance Three does not send your budget records to a server operated by zhorzhua.studio. It does not include advertising, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. The quick-entry widget opens the app and does not store your financial records.

Your choices

You choose what to record, whether to share a family budget, whom to invite, and where to export backups. You can edit or delete records in the app. Cloud synchronization can propagate changes to other devices and family participants. Deleting the app does not necessarily remove records in iCloud or copies saved elsewhere. Manage iCloud storage through Apple's settings and exported files through Files.

This website and support

Opening this policy loads a website hosted by GitHub Pages. The hosting service receives ordinary web request information such as your IP address; see GitHub's privacy statement. If you contact us by email, we receive what you choose to send. Please avoid sending financial records unless they are necessary for your request.
