About this policy
This policy applies to Wallpaper House for iPhone, developed by Zhorzhua Studio.
Data collection
Wallpaper House has no user accounts, advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not use tracking identifiers. We do not sell personal data. The network services used for downloads and purchases are described below.
Data stored on your device
App settings, the latest downloaded catalog, and cached wallpapers are stored locally on your device. The catalog and image caches are excluded from device backups and can be cleared automatically to manage storage. Local app data is removed when you delete the app; wallpapers you have saved to Photos remain in your photo library.
Wallpaper downloads
Some chapters of wallpapers are delivered on demand through Apple's App Store infrastructure after the app is installed, so that the initial download stays small. These downloads are handled by Apple under its own Privacy Policy.
The app also checks for catalog updates and downloads new or replaced wallpapers from wallpapers.zhorzhua.studio, hosted on Cloudflare. These requests include your IP address, the requested file address, and basic network information needed to deliver content and protect the service. Cloudflare also derives an approximate country from the IP address; the app does not request GPS or precise location access. Cloudflare processes this information under its Privacy Policy.
The app does not attach an account or tracking identifier to these requests, or upload your Photos library, settings, or subscription records to the content host.
Cloudflare retains security and diagnostic request records that can include the IP address, approximate country, request time, file address, network provider, app/network software information, and cache or response information. We can access these records to investigate delivery problems and protect the service, and use aggregate request and storage statistics to understand traffic and operate the service. Because request records retain IP addresses, they are not anonymous. They are not combined with advertising data or used to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Purchases
The optional House Key subscription is purchased and managed through Apple's App Store. Apple handles billing under its Privacy Policy; we do not receive your payment card details. The app verifies access on your device using Apple's subscription records, without a separate developer account or subscription server.
Photos access
When you choose to save a wallpaper, Wallpaper House requests add-only access to Photos and writes the selected image to your photo library. The app does not read or upload your photo library.
Sharing
When you share a wallpaper, the image is passed to the app or service you choose through the standard iOS share sheet. What happens next is governed by that app or service.
Changes
If Wallpaper House's data practices change, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
